Service room

The exact use of this small room, located next to the furnace block and entered only from outside from the service courtyard, is not certain. Possibly it was a storeroom. It could also be a toilet, as a wastewater channel passes under the floor, and latrines were usually included in bathhouses. In large baths like in Alexandria, the latrines were huge communal spaces, richly decorated with marble.
